KSB Aktiengesellschaft has equipped all major new buildings of solar companies in Germany from the end of 2005 until today with pumps and valves from their building services range.

The world’s latest production facilities for solar wafers and cells can now be found in the East German towns of Thalheim, Erfurt and Freiberg.

The pump manufacturer from Frankenthal supplied about 300 pumps, mostly speed-controlled, and 1000 valves worth 1.5 million euros for cooling, air-conditioning, heating, drainage and process cooling.

The choice of KSB as a supplier was mainly due to the quality of products and their successful operation in numerous plants of this type around the world. The company’s fast and smooth service at the site was also highly valued by the operators.
